/v2/blueprints/{blueprint_id}/versions/{version_id}/
Stable

Request

Retrieves the full configuration for a single, specific version of a blueprint.

Returns the complete settings payload for the given version_id, including whatever apps, files, Wi-Fi networks, and platform-specific restrictions were defined at that point in the blueprint's history.

About Get Blueprint Version This is the endpoint that returns the actual configuration a device receives when converged to a blueprint, since Converge applies a specific blueprint_version_id rather than just a blueprint_id. Use it to inspect exactly what a version will change on a device before rolling it out broadly.

Common Use Cases

Reviewing a version's full settings before using it in a Converge action

Comparing two versions of the same blueprint to understand what changed between them

Best Practices

Always confirm the version_id belongs to the expected blueprint_id, since version IDs are not unique across blueprints in isolation

Review a version's settings in full before converging a large device group to it, since Converge applies the configuration broadly and does not offer a partial rollback

Workflow

Call GET /v2/blueprints/{blueprint_id}/versions/ to find the version_id you need

Call this endpoint with both blueprint_id and version_id to retrieve the full settings

Use the blueprint_id and blueprint_version_id together in a POST to /v2/converge to apply this version to a device
